Biography: Constance Wu was born on March 22, 1982 in Richmond, Virginia. During her high school years, she started performing on school plays, as well as on their local theater. She then studied acting at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in NYU in a six-month program. She finished her acting degree from Purchase College. She also studied psycholinguistics after graduating from college. In 2006, she made her film debut in Stephanie Daley.
